2011 J. Hofstatter Pinot Nero Barthenau Vigna S. Urbano image

Single vineyard 65 year old vines, the best Pinot Noir made in Italy, this wine has a beautiful bouquet of exotic spices, dark cherry and black raspberry like fruit, very nuanced. A big and chewy Pinot Noir with lots of everything very big but still has elegance and some tannins here but a lovely freshness and an array of spices through the finish. Finish 50+ KILLER
