Vineyard Notes: The 2024 Bonterra Pinot Gris is comprised of grapes selected from a variety of regions throughout California. A majority of the fruit used in the 2024 vintage is from a specialized white Pinot Gris clone, which produces white fruit on the vine rather than the traditional red variety. This white varietal means less intervention is needed during the winemaking process to remove color, resulting in a pure expression of the grape in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: This brilliant Pinot Gris has a hint of green, a visual reflection of the green apple aroma waiting in the glass. Orange blossom on the palate is complemented by floral hints, with everything brought together by refreshing acidity. This bright, crisp wine is sure to make your mouth water.
Winemaking Notes: After being destemmed and pressed it underwent a quick, cold fermentation before being aged in stainless steel tanks for two months. Neither enzymes nor malolactic acid were added, allowing the wine’s signature crisp flavors and aromas to take center stage.
