2022 Paolo Scavino Barbera D'Alba

One of the two Barbera's that they make from La Morra (higher elevation, east exposure, loose calcarious soils) and the vineyard was planted in 1992, in the middle part of this vineyard. Very pretty floral and fresh earth notes to the black cherry berry fruit, bright and fruity bouquet, longer maceration to get more tannins out. Juicy black berry fruit very forward and seductive with pretty floral notes and a ncie compliment of fresh earth, black truffle and a bright refreshing finish. Finish 35+ Very Good +
