2021 Massolino Langhe Nebbiolo Piedmont, Italy

One year on Slovonian tonneuax and one year in the bottle only 900 cases produced, red cherry and red licorice spice, rose petals, tar and exotic spices. Bright red berry fruit with some tannins here but a more drinkable style with pretty floral and spice notes through the finish, light truffle, tar like earthy notes at the end. finish 35+ Very Good +  2021 is a great vintage sonderful intensity and also lovely freshness and balance.  They can add 15% of another varietal but they are 100% Nebbiolo they also include some vines outside of the Barolo and Barbaresco DOCG.
