2021 Marchesi Di Barolo Barbera D'Alba Ruvei

There is 15% Nebbiolo added to the Barbera here and that is the limit Rue is Roots and Vei is older so this refers to the roots that are older and give the wine more minerality, they now own 100 hectares and they buy from 100 hectares and there is no difference with how the grapes are grown, they follow the same philosophy.  Bright blackberry fruit here and black cherry fruit on the nose with pretty floral notes and come black truffle notes.  Bright and refreshing red on the palate with smooth with nuance from the nose coming through on the finish.  Finish 35+  Very Good +
