(91 Points) This Barbera is a tad shy but with a bit of time or a decant, the wine shows up in force. Aromas of ripe black cherries and currants mixed with allspice and freshly turned earth. The palate is perked up with bright acidity turning the fruit flavors into tart wild berries.
