2020 Massolino Barolo Parafada Barolo DOCG, Italy

The fruit from 60- to 65-year-old vines in Serralunga d'Alba, a single vineyard they produced for the first time in 1990 and this wine is aged in large Slovonian oak, Calcarious soils 400 cases produced.  A beautifully complex bouquet of rose petal, white truffle, dark spices and ripe red cherry fruit, red licorice and more.  A big and chewy wine on the palate with a long layered finish, silky smooth with layers of fruit, tongue tingly minerality lengthening the finish.  Finish 50+  Most Excellent
