(97 points) "The 2019 Barolo Bussia, a new wine in this range, is fabulous. It is also a very serious, almost somber Barolo endowed with huge fruit and equally imposing tannins. Sage, mint, dried herbs, crushed leaves and spice lend compelling aromatic intensity to this deep, layered Barolo. Exotic hints of orange peel, spice and sweet dried cherry linger on the explosive, soaring finish. What I love most about the Bussia is its complexity. Each taste reveals a new shade of its glorious dimension as the 2019 builds into its seriously long, resonant finish. This is a tremendous debut from sisters Marta and Carlotta Rinaldi.
