2012 Travaglini Gattinara Riserva

Bright red cherry fruit with pretty floral notes with minty notes, a selection of the best vineyard sites and it is only made in great vintages, they did not make this wine in 2002 or 2003, pretty floral notes with red cherry fruit and an array of spice and floral highlights, 3 years in large Slovenian oak, 1 year in French Oak and then 1 year in the bottle. A very complex and nuanced bouquet of zesty red berry fruit with a good hand of spice and dried floral notes, this wine has a very strong minerality, again this vineyard has lots of rocks containing iron and granite very long finish.
