1998 Pelissero Barbaresco Annata

Very exotic bouquet of smoked lunch meat, oriental spices and dark berry fruit, black truffle and more very complex bouquet of aromas.   The tannins here are very silky with round ripe red cherry fruit and an array of that smoked meat, oriental spice and truffle notes through the finish.  Finish 45+  This wine is drinking beautifully right now and that is why it got two votes for first place and two for second putting it close behind the 2001.      KILLER
