2019 Matt Morris Heritage Napa Valley

The 2019 Heritage Blend is a mix of Charbono, Petite Sirah, and Malbec. Its dense purple hue is followed by a powerful, ripe, opulent 2019 that gives up lots of black raspberry and blackberry fruits as well as sappy flowers, violets, chocolate, and exotic spices. These all carry to a full-bodied red that brings plenty of richness while staying lively, fresh, and even elegant. It's another gorgeous wine from Morris. It benefits from plenty of air, and I see no reason it shouldn't evolve gracefully for at least a decade. (JD)
