2000 Emidio Pepe Montepulciano D'Abruzzo

This wine has a bit of a wild game note to the mix of spices, flowers and herbs on the nose, very complex, with notes of dried meats and a dark cherry fruit. Nice structure on the tongue with dark cherry berry fruit and still some tannins here at the finish, an array of that nuance, fresh earth and dried meat like notes through the finish, nice freshness and a bit of tannins still at the end, this one could go another decade or more in your cellar.
