(93 Points) Assertive aromas and flavors of dried cherry, autumn woods and ginger highlight this vinous Champagne. Beautifully balanced, with complexity and a dry finish echoing fruit and spice. Drink now through 2016. 2,000 cases made. -BS Wine Spectator Issue: Web Only - 2009
Louis De Sacy is located in the village of Verzy, on the hillsides of the Mountain of Reims. Since 1633, 12 generations of winegrowers have succeeded here and participated in the development and renown of Champagne Louis de Sacy. With a very elegant salmon color the Rosé Grand Cru is blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. The nose offers a palette of red fruits, wild berries, pears and some notes of tobacco. This dry, full bodied rose, with a well-balanced structure and a long finish is perfect as an aperitif and ideal for accompanying meals. The character and elegance of this Rosé make those moments special and experience to enjoy and remember.
