2021 ALVARO PALACIOS LES AUBAGUETES PRIORAT DOCA SPAIN MAGNUM

(98 Points) The amazing sample of the 2021 Les Aubaguetes had a very complex nose with the depth and harmony of the centenary vines. The 2022 will be the first vintage classified as Gran Vinya Classificada. It is 71% Garnacha and 29% Cariñena and fermented with 55% full clusters. It has a great sense of harmony; it's both wide and long, with 14% alcohol and a pH of 3.46. This shady, north-facing and small vineyard had a lot of humidity this vintage, and the rains in early September reduced the crop.  Wine Advocate
