2019 Torbreck Runrig Shiraz - Viognier Barossa Valley, Australia 1.5L MAGNUM

"2019 was a vintage of quality over quantity. Torbreck's premium Shiraz deftly demonstrates the former. A deep crimson color, it opens with heady aromas of concentrated purple and blue fruit framed by cracked pepper, chocolate, menthol and glossy oak. The richly textured palate is supported by powerful, still-youthful tannins. A little alcohol heat and a lot of oak can be felt, but both will subside with more time in the bottle.
