2012 Tormaresca Morgicchio Negroamaro Salento

The name refers to one of the beaches on the estate, the entire estate is 500 hecatares, a natural park and lots of other things other than the 280 hectares of vineyards. 100% Negromaro two grand cru wines one from each estate this is the second wine at the Salento property, , this wine spends 8-10 months in barrique. Dark plum and dark berry fruit, with notes of black licorice, spiced bouquet, dark coco and fresh black earth. Has nice structure on the tongue with some tannins here on the finish but ripe and round with a bit of a chalk, bitter coco on the finish. Finish 40+ Excellent
