2012 Palari Santane Terre Siciliane

Only made in exceptional vintages and the varietals are 80+ year old vineyards Francesa is the varietals which means a field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot.  This wine has that same charcuterie like character with sundried cherry berry fruit and tar like earthy character.  A big and chewy wine with some tannins on the finish, dark spices and sundried cherry and red currant berry fruit with a long complex finish.  Finish 45+         Excellent +
