(95 Points) The 2019 Barbera d’Asti Bricco dell'Uccellone is one of the best versions of this wine I can remember tasting. Rich and full-bodied to the core, with stunning depth, the 2019 offers up a beguiling range of black fruit, mocha, chocolate, grilled herbs, lavender and incense. There's still plenty of concentration and oak to support it, but without the excesses of some recent years. it has been a while since I have been able to say a Braida wine is exciting, but the 2019 certainly is!
