There were 6 vineyard sites that were planted when the Hwang family bought this property, all of them were considered to be of Grand Cru status from years ago when this region was considered to be among the world's elite wine producing regions. The vineyard were in bad need of attention and they are still recovering from the high yields and the chemical fertilizers that were used in the past. The first dry wine was created in 2006 from the Furmint varietal. This wine was also introduced in 2005, this innovative dry wine wondrously balances Furmint’s viscous intensity and bright acidity. It has a unique bouquet of tobacco and mint to the tangerine citrus and a flinty character also here in the nose. Sweet tart like fruit on the tongue with nice freshness and a balance. Finish 35+ Very Good
