2019 Quinta de Pellada & Fento wines "La Galaxia" Rosado

Fento Wines is a project of famed enologist Eulogio Pomares, the winemaker of Zarate in Rias Baixas.  His Fento wines are wines that he partners with different winemakers that have similar sensibilties such as organic farming, native yeast fermentation and no intervention with the wine making.

 

La Galaxia is his partnership with one of the leading lights of the Dao in Portugal, Alvaro Castro of Quinta da Pellada.  The rose is delicious with red fruit balanced with a wonderful savory, mineral note and floral lift on the finish. It's a blend of Baga, Tinto Roriz and Jaen. Very fresh and pretty and a superb addition to a Thanksgiving or holiday meal
