(90 Points) The 1991 vintage port is a young, husky, muscular, opaque purple-colored wine with copious quantities of licorice, peppery, smoky, cassis fruit, a heady alcohol content that is not totally integrated, and layers of sweet, rich, jammy fruit that caress the palate with a lush texture. This impressive single quinta needs another 5-7 years of cellaring; it should keep through the first two decades of the next century.
