1991 Quinta De Roriz Vintage Port
(90 Points) The 1991 vintage port is a young, husky, muscular, opaque purple-colored wine with copious quantities of licorice, peppery, smoky, cassis fruit, a heady alcohol content that is not totally integrated, and layers of sweet, rich, jammy fruit that caress the palate with a lush texture. This impressive single quinta needs another 5-7 years of cellaring; it should keep through the first two decades of the next century. This single quinta is owned by the Quinta do Noval, which is just beginning to fully exploit the quality of these single quinta ports. Wine Advocate
