2023 Colome Malbec Estate Valle Calchaqui

The vineyards for this wine are located at around 6-10,000 feet, making this is the highest part of Salta. This wine is now 100% Malbec and is a blend of four different vineyard sites.  A very polished bouquet of violet floral notes with thick blackberry, black raspberry like fruit with fresh black earth, dark coco and espresso like notes very complex, a big and chewy wine on the tongue with layers of dark berry fruit, dark spices, espresso and a long layered finish, big but has wonderful freshness and a long layered finish, lots of everything. If the price is correct on this one it is the best value I have had this year from Argentina. Finish 45+ Excellent +
