2018 Antica Chardonnay Napa

This chardonnay contains 6 different clones; clone 4, Herman Weimer clone from Burgundy, Dijon 96 & 76 and Clone 15. Antinori has 1200 acres of land 50% dedicated to vineyard, of that 50% is Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Chardonnay.  Lightly toasted oak spice vanilla and lemon citrus, very clean style with a good amount of underlying minerality and light oak spice. A very balanced style of Chardonnay, fresh lemon citrus fruit on the tongue with green apple and notes of creme brulee and a fine amount of underlying acidity, this wine has excellent length and balance on the finish indicating it could potentially age for a decade or more in your cellar.  We offered this same vintage over a year ago and I mentioned in the review that the wine needed a year in your cellar and now you have it!Finish 45+ Most Excellent
