2012 Carneros Hills Chardenet Durell Vineyard Sonoma Coast

This is the old french spelling for Chardonnay and this is from the famous Durell vineyard, has a good amount of flinty mineral notes, toasty oak spice (only 14% new oak) and a nice hand of tree fruits, asian pear and lemon drop candy. A very thick and creamy wine on the tonue with a good amount of juicy tropical fruit with just the right amount of lightly toasted oak spice and a nice firm hand of acidity through the finish.
