2017, our harvest in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (66%), Avize and Oiry (34%): winter and spring are exceptionally dry, the beginning of spring is mild but in April, destructive frosts ravage the vineyard, in particular the White Coast. Temperatures are rising then and the weather is nice until July. The end of the season is hot but very rainy. We start picking September 4 to complete it on the 13th. Rigorous sorting generates a low volume harvest but allows to obtain ripe and healthy grapes. The wines are rich and dense and we complete the Cuvée with some wines reserve.
