They now have 56 acres of estate vineyard to add the purchased fruit which was one of Michael's goals when he took over the winery in 2001 to become more self sufficient in terms of their own fruit sourced. This wine has a very dark color, with a lot of forward seductive black currant and black raspberry cherry fruit layered with notes of vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate and notes of pencil lead. This wine is big but still smooth with ripe tannins developed tannins giving this wine a long finish layers of blackberry and smoky toasty oak. Finish 45 Excellent
