First produced in 1944, Vintage Selection is the ultimate expression of the Charles Krug portfolio, an elegant, artfully balanced wine that has stood the test of time.

Our 2021 release incorporates pristine fruit from three flagship vineyards: Slinsen (72%) and Voltz (18%) in Yountville, and Cold Springs (10%) on Howell Mountain. This quintessential, classic Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromas of raspberry, red cherry, hints of blackberry and black cherry. The wine opens up with flavors of green tea leaf, cigar, clove, nutmeg, oregano and thyme. It displays vibrant acidity with a lengthy, velvety tannin finish.
