Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras gallops out of the the glass with energetic scents of blackcurrant pastilles, Morello cherries and blueberry pie, with hints of fragrant earth, chocolate box and violets. Tightly wound, fine-grained and lively in the full-bodied mouth, it has bags of crunchy black and blue fruits and a long, beautifully pure finish. (LPB)   Review Date: 11/2021
