Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and this wine has no indication of the varietals on the label with a good amount of and over ripe character to the currant and plum fruit with a bit of sweet herbs and some dark spices. This blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed Tench Vineyard in Oakville and 48% Merlot from Sugarloaf Mountain leaps from the glass with notes of black currant laced with cocoa. Plush and opulent in the mouth, this hedonistic effort combines the brute force of our Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon with the curvaceous nature of our Merlot. Deep and dark, the purity of fruit is layered with tar and baking spice.
