The deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Leopoldina Vineyard offers a stunning nose of roses, violets and kirsch over a core of cassis, dark chocolate, cigar box and forest floor with a waft of wild thyme. Medium to full-bodied and laden with tightly would black fruit and floral layers, it has a solid line of ripe, grainy tannins and a very long, vivacious finish. (LPB)   Review Date: 10/2018
