Materra’s 2015 Hidden Block Cabernet Sauvignon shows off a diverse range of aromas and flavors that subtly blend to create a deeply rich and elegant wine. A bouquet of dark fruit, including black cherries and plums burst from the glass combining beautifully with notes of shaved chocolate along with wisps of tobacco leaf, cedar and soft leather. These aromas carry through on the palette where the elegant, bright acidity allows flavors of chocolate dipped black cherries, plum skins, and caramel to burst on the tongue along with fine, chalky tannins that progress through a very long finish.
