Ripples with sweet bay leaf and chaparral notes that enliven a well-defined core of pure cassis, mulberry and blackberry flavors. Delivers a piercing iron note that skirts underneath, while sparkles of anise, black tea and fruitcake dart in and out. Long and grippy through the finish, this will need a touch more time to settle in fully, but is a gorgeous example of a classic Napa mountain Cabernet. (JM)   Review Date: 09/2023
