Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals slowly evolving crème de cassis, preserved plums and cigar box notes with a lovely earth and underbrush undercurrent plus notions of bay leaves and lavender. The medium-bodied palate offers lovely poise and is elegant yet intense, with plenty of youthful, muscular fruit supported by grainy tannins and finishing with a spring in its step.
