Each year as we prepare to release of our wines we share a final tasting. This is usually a time to reminisce, evaluate and enjoy. While with a vintage like the 2012 it is all about celebrating the triumvirate of winemaker, grower and Mother Nature. We invite you to join the celebration with our traditional, 2012 Estate Cabernet! WINEMAKER NOTES This 2012 has all the characteristics of an exceptional, classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s deep dark ruby color and touches of purple on the rim suggest the explosion of dark stone fruits, black cherry and plum coming your way. Wrapped in fragrances of fresh cut oak, these layers are joined by spicy black pepper and hints of chocolate that evolve into floral notes, hints of cooked beef and fresh baked pie. This beautifully balanced & textured 2012 is round and rich in the mouth with great acidity and a framed tannic structure. On the finish you will find plum, cherry and blueberry with a hint of lemon drop and boysenberry. Our favorite descriptor applies; Yummy!
