2008 Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Franc Sonoma County

Bright ruby-red. Aromatic nose combines black fruits, licorice, violet, wild herbs and graphite. Densely packed and juicy, with nicely integrated acidity and lively spice and floral notes giving verve to the mid-palate. Here, too, the percentage of new oak is down from past vintages. This firmly built wine finishes with ripe tannins and lingering sweetness. I like this style.    Review Date: 05/2011
