Average Age 32 years, they both start life as a fino and then Palo Cortado exhibs traits of Oloroso, when they found a barrel that was different the put a white slash or cut to mark this, only 1 out of 1000 would make this cut, a very rare style of Sherry. This has a dazzling array of brown spices, with dates, dried raisins and hazelnut fruit with a slight briny note, very complex bouquet, a bit of tar, also high up on the alcohol with 19.5%, very thick and rich onthe tongue with dried fruits, dates and bitter almond notes through the finish, caramel and a slight briny note to the finish.
