(93-94 points)  “The 2020 Ried Steinertal Riesling opens coolish and fresh, with lime aromas on the precise and finely flinty nose that also reveals some fresh pineapple stem and white/green vineyard peach aromas with a touch of paprika. Crystalline, elegant and juicy-piquant, with concentrated fruit, the 2020 Steinertal Riesling is carried by demanding acidity to long, dense, aromatic finish with stimulating tannin grip. The wine is compact and close-meshed but also juicy. Tasted as a sample in June 2021.
