2017 Marchesi Fumanelli Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Veneto, Italy

A blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella so there is no Molinara used in any of the Marchesi's wines, a pretty nose of red cherry fruit, dark coco, dried meats, clay like minerality with some pretty floral notes. A very smooth and drinkable wine on the tongue with soft round tannins and light floral notes echoing the minerality and dried meat character from the nose through the finish. Finish 35+ Excellent
