Origin: Squarano Estate
Grape variety: Corvina Veronese 40%, Corvinone 40%, Rondinella 20%
Harvest: The grapes are hand cropped, at best maturation stage. Part of the grapes, about 30%, are let to dry in plateaux for 30/40 days during October/November.
Vinification: Vinification occurs separately with the wine-maker system.
Aging: The wine stays for 14-15 month in French barriques and for at least 6 months in bottles for a further maturation
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red with violet reflexes, pronounced and characteristic bouquet of mature red fruits such as cherries and wild berries with a slightly spicy note.
