A blend of 50/50 Corvina and Cabernet Franc and the Corvina is dried using the appasimento style and brought up in barrel for 22 months. Has a beautiful bouquet of sweet red cherry fruit, liqueur like concentration lots of insence like spice and dried floral potpourii aromas, very pretty. A good amount of sweet cherry and plum like fruit on the tongue with an array of pretty floral notes and exotic spices, this wine is even better on the second day showing wonderful structure and a long fresh finish.
