2009 Vigna Traverso Troj Colli Orientali dil Fruili

A blend of merlot, Refosco and Schiopettino, this wine sees a combination of stainless and barrique aging, a unique blend with a good hand of plum and cherry fruit, light smoke and peppery spice along with hints of grilled meats, a big of a green vegetal note. A good amount of peppery spice on the tongue with a solid core of dark berry fruit and a nice refreshing finish, tobacco spice and some of that green vegetal nuance from the nose through the finish. finish 40+ Very Good +
