2009 Monte Faustino Amarone della Valpolicella 3 Liter
In the Hamlet of Mount Faustino, above all, the note of graphite is preserved in the soil of the ancient vineyard. The hilly terrain from which the best grape is selected for Valpolicella's main wine and the highly developed root system of the old Fornaser's old vineyard, coupled with the long drying and the long-lasting refinement in barrique and bottle, give this Amarone a Otherwise inaccessible. Red garnet load, persistent aroma of ripe red fruit, cherry, plum and almond, full and elegant flavor with notes of vanilla, coffee and chocolate. It combines wonderfully with game dishes, grilled, roasted and seasoned cheeses. Tasted alone, it's an unmatched "meditation" wine.
