The Las Colinas Syrah is indicative of what is possible for cool-climate Syrah as it captures the essence of the western Sonoma Coast appellation. Comprised of a blend of biodynamically grown Harrison Grade Estate and organically grown Dusty Lane fruit, élevage in 500-liter French oak puncheons helps to preserve fruit and spice, and affords graceful aging in the cellar. In 2021, the fruit for Las Colinas was fully destemmed, with solid, flavorful berries delivered cleanly into tank for fermentation. A 20-month élevage in neutral oak puncheons, followed by an extra year of bottle age have yielded an energetic and inviting snapshot of Sonoma Coast Syrah.
