2011 Isolabella Della Croce Le Marne Monferrato Rosso

A unique blend of 45% Barbera and the rest Dolcetto and cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet is a bit dominante in the nose with dark currant and cherry fruit along with notes of fresh earth, limestone rich soils which the name Le Marne refers to and this wine has a bit of barnyard and a very rich mineral laced bouquet. A very fresh and lively wine on the tongue with light berry fruit and some of that pretty floral nuance from the nose through the finish. Finish 45+ Very Good
