(92 Points) ~~Castello Romitorio’s 2008 Brunello di Montalcino is beautifully layered and delineated. Expressive dark cherries, tobacco, sage, menthol and sweet spices all come together nicely in this mid-weight offering. The 2008 is gorgeous today, but it also has more than enough depth to age well for a number of years. Sweet floral and tobacco-infused nuances give the finish a sense of lift that is highly attractive. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2028. eRobertParker.com #207, Jun 2013
