2008 Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino

(92 Points) ~~Castello Romitorio’s 2008 Brunello di Montalcino is beautifully layered and delineated. Expressive dark cherries, tobacco, sage, menthol and sweet spices all come together nicely in this mid-weight offering. The 2008 is gorgeous today, but it also has more than enough depth to age well for a number of years.
