1981 Rivesaltes Riveyrac Amber

This is a specialist in this region and Philipe Gayral, this is a blend of Grenache Noir and Macabeo fortified with Grape Brandy to 17%, this wine has a beautiful nose of sundried fruits, a light medicinal quality, dried flowers, toffee and a distinct mineral sea shell like quality. Rich sundried prune and toffee like notes, s creamy thick texture on the tongue with an array of brown spice on the finish.
