1980's Vintage California Wine Tasting

If only a modern-day politician could contribute as much to the quality of our life as the late great Thomas Jefferson.  He was one of the first advocates of wine in the United States and he is one of the reasons why we have the greatest selection of wines from all around the world in the U.S. today.  So, remember...no matter how bad it gets, we still have the best selection of the world’s greatest wines at the most competitive prices in the world here in the U.S. of A.

Speaking of GREAT wines from the U.S.A…. I need a few good men or women to help me drink some really fine wine on this occasion at our 1980’s vintage California wine tasting.  We will be sampling some very old wines from great producers with everything on the table tonight over 35 years of age going all the way back to the 1980 vintage!!

This tasting features wines from one of the most pristine collections of wines that we have ever acquired.  Everything here was purchased on release and put into an underground cellar until we dug them out just over a year ago and brought them back to Wine Watch.  Many of these wines were single bottles so we have only a few of the wines on the table tonight available for sale so this is really scientific work with vintage California wines that we are conducting this evening.
