NV Lanson Extra Age Blanc De Blanc Champagne Grand Cru
All Grand Cru vineyards go into this wine, this wine has a pronounced chalky mineral quality to the bouquet with quince, with that fresh leven bread dough like quality. This wine has a wonderful intenstiy on the palate with tiny bubbles, very rich and layered finish, that chalky mineral notes through the finish. Finish 50+ Most Excellent
To mark its 250th anniversary, Champagne Lanson created a range of cuvées, Extra Age. The range was created by chief winemaker Jean-Paul Gandon to celebrate the history of the house. Extra Age Blanc de Blancs is a blend of 100% Chardonnay grapes from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards Avize, Cramant, Oiry, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and is a blend from the 2004, 2005 and 2006 vintages.
