2022 The Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Blanc, Dundee Hills, USA
100% Eyrie Estate-Sister's Vineyard Orientation: South Soil: 50% Jory and 50% Woodburn. Vines are non-irrigated, own-rooted, Guyot-trained, on 10’ x 6’ spacing. They use no herbicides, systemic chemicals or insecticides. Vineyards floors are maintained with a native cover and no tillage. All grapes are hand harvested. Vinification: Eyrie Pinot Blanc undergoes natural temperature primary fermentation and full malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Aged 11 months before bottling. “When Alsatian clones of Pinot Blanc finally became available in Oregon, a small test plot was planted in Eyrie’s Sisters estate vineyard.
