From three Valleys, Marchigue Valley also produces some of the Carmenere, and they have Petit Verdot, this wine has a lot of ripe black cherry and plum fruit with a tiny bit of that green pepper nuance along with notes of coffee, fresh plowed earth minerality and dark spices, lovely complexity on the nose. Wow, a big and chewy wine on the tongue wiht layers of dark cherry fruit, plum and a full array of that coffee, fresh herbs, a hint of that bell pepper but very sweet and ripe with a good amount of fresh earth in the long and layered finish, event better on the second day, one of the best Carmeneres made in chile.
